Made‑to‑measure CRM.

The CRM you always wished you had, for less than the one you're putting up with. We build only the parts that make your work better, like a quoting and invoicing engine shaped to how you price and bill, and none of what you'd pay for and never open.

One job's life in a system we might build for a mechanical contractor. Yours follows how your business works.

Off-the-rack software asks your team to change how it works. We'd rather change the software.

Fully custom
Your records, your steps, your terms. Nothing bent to fit someone else's template.
Less than the alternatives
No build fee, just a monthly fee for the features you use, typically below the licences and setup of the big platforms.
Weeks, not quarters
Working software early, then steady improvements. No months-long discovery phase.
Senior people only
The people you meet are the people who build it. No hand-offs to a junior team.
Checked twice
Every screen, number and notification is tested before your team sees it, and again after.
No seats, ever
Hosting, support and changes in one flat monthly fee. Adding people never changes the bill.

What we build

The custom parts that make the day easier, built into the way your team already works. Here is one we build often: a quoting and invoicing engine, from the first request to the books.

  1. Request

An email, a call or a web form lands on the right client.

CC one address and the email files itself.

  2. Quote

Each line priced from that client's own rates, with your minimums and travel.

Client rate first, then regional, then standard.

  3. Approval

Anything outside your limits waits for the right person, not the next free one.

More than 10% off goes to the regional manager.

  4. Sent

A branded PDF from your template, with the follow-up already on the calendar.

A nudge at 45 days if nobody has replied.

  5. Job

The won quote becomes the job, same number, moving through your stages.

It can't close without the client's sign-off on file.

  6. Invoice

Drafted from the job in the format each client wants, then into your books.

Itemized for the clients who ask, lump sum for the rest.

The steps, wording and rules come from how your business runs. Nothing on it is there because a platform shipped it.

Pricing that knows each client

Negotiated rates per client and per office, with dates, so the right price fills itself in and every change is explained.

Approvals routed by your limits

Your thresholds, your people. Each request goes to whoever is allowed to decide it, and the decision is on record.

Email that files itself

Your team keeps working in Outlook or Gmail. Copy one address and the conversation lands on the quote or job it belongs to.

Connected to what you keep

We build around the tools you already rely on instead of asking you to replace them.

Senior people, institutional discipline

You work directly with the people who design and build your system. No account managers, no hand-offs, no junior team learning on your project.

We bring decades of combined experience building software and running businesses, so we ask the right questions early and know where these projects usually go wrong. Our lead engineer is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Being focused doesn't mean being fragile. Every system we run is documented, version-controlled and supported by written runbooks, so it never depends on any one person, and it's still being improved years after launch.

Built to pass review, and to last

What finance, IT and procurement teams ask us first, answered up front.

Mainstream technology
Hosted on Amazon Web Services, with a PostgreSQL database and widely used, well-supported tools. Nothing exotic to maintain.
Security by default
Encryption in transit and at rest, sign-in through your own Microsoft or Google accounts, role-based permissions, and an isolated environment for every client.
A complete audit trail
Every change to a record, amount or status is logged with who, when and what changed, to support audits and internal controls.
Backups that are tested
Nightly backups to separate encrypted storage, kept 35 days, and restores we rehearse and check row for row rather than assume.
Engineering practice
Infrastructure as code, version control, scripted releases and an automated end-to-end test after every one. Systems are monitored every 5 minutes on a public status page.
Clear agreements
A master services agreement, a statement of work, and a support agreement with response times in writing.

For finance, IT and procurement: data location, subprocessors, incident response and vulnerability reporting are on our Trust and security page. Our security overview, completed security questionnaire, sample agreements and vendor onboarding documents are available on request at support@golden-dorado.com.

How we compare to HubSpot and Salesforce

Both are excellent at what they were built for. HubSpot runs marketing and a sales pipeline. Salesforce is a platform for large organizations with admins and partners to run it. We build for the rest of the business, the part where the work actually gets done.

Already on HubSpot or Salesforce? Many companies keep it for sales and marketing and connect it to a custom system that runs operations. We can build that link.

“How do I get my own custom CRM?”

Here's our simple process.

  1. Free Consultation

Give us a half hour to ask you questions about your current process; what's working, what's not, and a few things you wish your CRM could do.

If we don't think we can help you, we promise to tell you in this first meeting.

  2. The Build

We usually need about a week to get things ready for you.

Share your data if you like. We'll load it up to make things real.

  3. The Handoff

Sit down with us to see what we made. Click around, you won't break it.

  4. The Partnership

It's your first day in your new CRM. See the fish at the top left? Click that when you notice something you want changed, or find a bug. A screenshot of the page you're on appears. Circle the problem, write a note, and hit send. We'll make the change in about a business day.

Keep the fish coming. We challenge you to constantly ask for changes to even the smallest things. After a few weeks of these changes, your CRM will start to look like you.

The Cost

We keep our customers' monthly fees low by charging only for the features we give them. A one-man sales operation that just needs a cold-call-to-deal tracking tool might pay $20 a month. A company using their CRM to manage complex workflows in several departments may be shelling out $50,000 a year. Both pay less for our sharp tool than they would for a bloated, off-the-rack, force-fit “solution” like HubSpot.

We don't charge building/implementation fees. Our customers tend to stay long term, and we think up-front fees are a bad way to start a relationship.

The Commitment

There isn't one. Leave any time with no penalty.

If you love us, but something changes and you can't afford the monthly anymore, don't cancel before giving us a call. We'll work something out.

Who we work with

Companies from one salesperson to several departments. Most have work that involves more than closing a sale: quoting, scheduling, delivery, billing, or several locations working as one.

If a standard CRM does the job for you, we'll say so. Made-to-measure makes sense when the fit or the cost of an off-the-shelf tool has become the problem.

Start with a conversation.

A short note about your team and how work moves through it is enough. We'll follow up to set up your free half-hour consultation.
